Virus / Malware on Tablet and Smartphone - 3rd Addition to the General Warranty Conditions for New Majestic Spa products.

This is to communicate that the blocking or malfunction of the device (Smartphone or Tablet) in the presence of Virus / Malware is a damage caused, therefore it does not fall within the New Majestic Spa 24 month warranty procedure.
They do not need tools to detect the presence of malicious software, at sight alone it is possible to check whether the device has persistent advertising banners or banners related to infected viruses.
The malfunction is a damage caused by the installation of a malicious software that develops mainly through the APPs or rather through bad and criminal APPs whose actions range from the theft of personal contacts to harmful economic transactions for the owner and the use of technical components and device functionality.
The consumer must have particular attention and awareness on the behaviours to be followed (password and PIN to lock the device, pay attention to web links, always check the security of the applications to be loaded, always carefully define the configurations and permissions of the installed APPs ).
Warnings:
- Do not update the operating system with newer or different versions, you could damage the device.
- The application use guide, when available, is inserted directly into the application by the developers themselves.
- New Majestic Spa assumes no responsibility for any errors entered in the respective online guides.
- All trademarks and copyrights are the property of their respective owners.
- New Majestic Spa is not responsible for the problems that third party software may cause to the appliance.
- New Majestic Spa is not responsible for the problems of any incompatibilities found in the use of software developed by third parties.
- New Majestic Spa declines all responsibility for the violation of copyright laws by the user.
For these problems, New Majestic SpA can intervene by formatting the device and rewriting the firmware. However, this action does not guarantee the solution of the problem as it depends on the type of virus / malware and where it is located.
The intervention is not covered by the warranty, it can only be done by qualified technicians who have knowledge of the product.
New Majestic SpA applies a cost of € 20 for the formatting and restoration of the software.
N.B. The product is made as new with only the apps that are installed by default.

USB port for Tablet and Smartphone - 2nd addition to the General Warranty Conditions for New Majestic Spa products
We inform you that the breakage of the USB port of Smartphones and Tablets does not fall within the New Majestic Spa 24 month warranty procedure.
They do not need tools to detect the breakage of the USB port, at sight alone it is possible to check whether the input is torn, split etc.
Please read the General Conditions of Assistance included in each product and published on the website, see “damage caused by improper use is not covered by the Warranty”.
By voiding the warranty, the customer may possibly request a paid out-of-warranty repair quote from an authorized Cat. A technician will check if the break only concerns the USB terminal or if the forcing has also damaged the electronic board on which it is connected.
If the product is sent at its own expense to the central assistance center in Crema, the cost of replacing the USB port alone is approximately € 25.00 * with cash on delivery payment upon return. In order to request the intervention, you must write to assistenza@newmajestic.com

* The cost of repair may vary depending on the product model. The Cat certifies the cost only after having examined the product.
GENERAL WARRANTY CONDITIONS FOR THE PRODUCTS OF New MAJESTIC S.p.A.
Dear Customer, We thank you for your purchase and we remind you that the product complies with the regulations in force in terms of construction and safety.
Should any anomalies or defects in the product be found, New Majestic S.p.A. offers a conventional guarantee subject to the conditions set forth herein (specifying that the conventional guarantee does not affect the consumer's rights pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 206 of 06/09/2005). The guarantee refers exclusively to the repair or free replacement of individual components or the entire goods recognized as faulty in manufacturing.
The warranty period will not be renewed or extended following subsequent resale, repair or replacement of the product itself.
The parts repaired, replaced or the total exchange of the product will be guaranteed for a period of 60 days starting from the date of repair or replacement and of course for the remainder of the guarantee.
The Warranty is valid from the date proven by a valid tax document (receipt or purchase invoice) for the period provided for by the law in force (Legislative Decree 2/02/02 n.24 implementing Directive 1099/44 / EC), or equal to 24 months in case of purchase with tax receipt and 12 months in case of purchase with tax invoice (VAT number).
There are goods that due to their normal characteristics are perishable over time or subject to wear and tear resulting from use, therefore, for the accessories included in the sales package, the Warranty is valid for 12 months.
A rechargeable battery is considered defective and replaceable under the 12-month warranty only when it is interrupted, i.e. it no longer supplies energy and the voltage across it is Zero Volt.
In the event that the ability to supply energy is reduced compared to the new product (in the case of consumption / wear), the Warranty period will be 6 months.
Are not covered by Warranty:
- Deterioration due to wear of the aesthetic parts and all components that may be defective due to negligence or carelessness in use, improper maintenance or circumstances that cannot be traced back to manufacturing defects of the appliance.
- User manuals, third party software, configurations, applications or data downloaded by the customer.
- Defects caused by improper use of the product (falls, pressure, deformation or use of sharp objects).
- Opening, modification or repair of the product by parties other than the Authorized Assistance Center.
- Serial numbers, production date, barcode or IMEI * code that appear to be erased, altered or illegible.
For warranty interventions, please contact one of the Authorized Service Centers of New Majestic S.p.A., the complete list of which can be consulted on the website www.newmajestic.com, or at the point of sale where the product was purchased, by delivering the duly completed warranty slip and attaching the receipt for the purchase.
     CAUTION:
It is advisable to keep intact both the packaging and all the accessories contained therein, since in case of sending to the technical laboratory it is better to use the original packaging with all its accessories.
